About YiLu
Meet Jessica,

Jessica is the founder of YILU China Travel, a private China travel planning studio created for international visitors who want a amazing, smarter, and more meaningful way to experience China.
A graduate of the University of Toronto, born in China, but staying in Canada for 10 years. Jessica has traveled across more than 30 countries and cities, developing a deep appreciation for culture, movement, language, and the small details that shape a memorable journey. She speaks English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, and French, allowing her to connect with travelers from different backgrounds and understand the expectations, questions, and concerns that often come with visiting a new country.
Before founding YILU China Travel, Jessica worked in risk management and compliance analysis at an investment management firm on Bay Street in Toronto. Her background in financial services shaped the way she plans travel: structured, detail-oriented, practical, and risk-aware. She understands that a great trip is not only about where to go, but also about timing, transportation, communication, payments, cultural context, and having a clear plan before arrival.
Jessica created YILU China Travel to help international travelers navigate China with confidence. From first-time visitor preparation and mobile payment setup to high-speed rail routes, city experiences, and custom itineraries, her approach combines local insight, global perspective, and thoughtful planning.
Her goal is simple: to make China feel less overwhelming, more accessible, and beautifully planned.
